Population of the town of Benton, 13½.
Location History and Status:
Located 50 miles northeast of Lee Vining, California, passing by Mono Lake. At one time this town has over 2000 residents, mostly the miners
who resided here while they mined and searched for gold during the latter part of the 1800's.
